Timelines and Deadlines

• January 18, 2013: Application deadline 5pm PST
• February 8, 2013: Announcement of approximately 40 ensembles invited to live auditions. Note: selected ensembles required to attend auditions during the time frames listed below
• March 21-26, 2013: Live Auditions in New York, NY, St. Louis, MO and San Francisco, CA (date and location subject to change)
• April 12, 2013: Announcement of finalist ensembles for the 2013-14 American Music Abroad season
• September 2013 through May 2014: Finalist ensembles perform domestically in Washington, DC area and depart for international tours of 30 days in 4 to 6 countries on average.  In total, ensembles will tour approximately 35 days
